We Are Those Who Glorify
وَإِنَّا لَنَحۡنُ ٱلۡمُسَبِّحُونَ ١٦٦
Lo! we, even we are they who hymn His praise.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
“And indeed, we are those who exalt Allah.”
Insight
According to Elmalılı, the angels declare Allah free of unbefitting attributes; so they utterly reject claims of offspring and lineage.
