From Sticky Clay
فَٱسۡتَفۡتِهِمۡ أَهُمۡ أَشَدُّ خَلۡقًا أَم مَّنۡ خَلَقۡنَآۚ إِنَّا خَلَقۡنَٰهُم مِّن طِينࣲ لَّازِبِۭ ١١
Then ask them (O Muhammad): Are they stronger as a creation, or those (others) whom we have created? Lo! We created them of plastic clay.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
Ask them: are they a stronger creation or those We created? We created them from sticky clay.
Insight
According to Elmalılı, after showing these and explaining the oneness of their Creator, the deniers are asked: are they stronger, or the heavens?
