Gave a Little, Then Stopped
وَأَعۡطَىٰ قَلِيلࣰا وَأَكۡدَىٰٓ ٣٤
And gave a little, then was grudging.

Meaning
And gave a little and then refrained.
Insight
Elmalılı explains “kudyah” as hard ground that cannot be dug, solid rock: like one digging who hits rock and stops, he gave a little then ceased.
