Al-Qiyamah 75:15
The Resurrection · Meccan · Juz 29 · Page 577
Excuses
وَلَوۡ أَلۡقَىٰ مَعَاذِيرَهُۥ ١٥
Although he tender his excuses.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
Even if he presents his excuses.
Insight
According to Elmalılı, at the reckoning man lists all kinds of excuses to justify himself to others; but he himself knows what he did and whether his excuses are true.
Reflect
Offer an apology today instead of an excuse.
