Inspiration to a Mother
And We inspired the mother of Moses, saying: Suckle him and, when thou fearest for him, then cast him into the river and fear not nor grieve. Lo! We shall bring him back unto thee and shall make him (one) of Our messengers.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
We inspired Moses’ mother: “Suckle him; and if you fear for him, cast him into the river and do not fear or grieve.”
Insight
According to Elmalılı, this was not prophetic revelation but inspiration or a dream; inspiration, though not a source of knowledge for all, can carry force that obliges its owner to act.
Reflect
Make use of good inspiration that comes to your heart.
