The Term Is Not Delayed
وَلَن يُؤَخِّرَ ٱللَّهُ نَفۡسًا إِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُهَاۚ وَٱللَّهُ خَبِيرُۢ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ ١١
But Allah reprieveth no soul when its term cometh, and Allah is Informed of what ye do.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
Allah will never delay a soul when its time has come.
Insight
According to Elmalılı, then the prayer “Delay me a little” will be of no use; Allah is aware of what you do.

Do a good deed today that you’ve been postponing.
