Flawless Order
Who hath created seven heavens in harmony. Thou (Muhammad) canst see no fault in the Beneficent One’s creation; then look again: Canst thou see any rifts.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
Allah created seven heavens, layer upon layer, in harmony with one another. There is no flaw in His creation; look again, do you see any crack?
Insight
According to Elmalılı, “seven” here may express abundance and vastness, not just a number: many heavens, each a world of its own, created in a special harmony with one another.
Reflect
Tonight, look at the sky and watch its order for a minute.
