Three Hundred and Nine Years
وَلَبِثُواْ فِي كَهۡفِهِمۡ ثَلَٰثَ مِاْئَةࣲ سِنِينَ وَٱزۡدَادُواْ تِسۡعࣰا ٢٥
And (it is said) they tarried in their Cave three hundred years and add nine.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
They remained in their cave three hundred years, and added nine.

According to Elmalılı, it is said that three hundred is by the solar year, and the extra nine by the lunar year.
