Don’t Say “I Will Do It Tomorrow”
وَلَا تَقُولَنَّ لِشَاْيۡءٍ إِنِّي فَاعِلࣱ ذَٰلِكَ غَدًا ٢٣
And say not of anything: Lo! I shall do that tomorrow.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
And never say of anything: “I will do that tomorrow.”
Insight
According to Elmalılı, a person’s resolve and will are not by themselves sufficient cause for something to happen.

Say “inshallah” today when talking about a plan.
