Al-Ikhlas 112:4
The Sincerity · Meccan · Juz 30 · Page 604
Without Equal
وَلَمۡ يَكُن لَّهُۥ كُفُوًا أَحَدُۢ ٤
And there is none comparable unto Him.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
And there is none equal to Him.
Insight
According to Elmalılı, however much perfection is attributed to something that came into being, it is still created and cannot be equal to Him. The whole universe, with its Throne and Footstool, its world and Hereafter, is not His equal.
Reflect
Is there anything that takes up a greater place in your heart than Allah?
