Would You Teach Allah Your Religion?
قُلۡ أَتُعَلِّمُونَ ٱللَّهَ بِدِينِكُمۡ وَٱللَّهُ يَعۡلَمُ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيۡءٍ عَلِيمࣱ ١٦
Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Would ye teach Allah your religion, when Allah knoweth all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, and Allah is Aware of all things.

Meaning
Say: “Would you inform Allah of your religion?”
Insight
According to Elmalılı, this rebukes the Bedouins who, by saying “We believe”, tried to inform Allah of their piety, though Allah knows everything.
