Success
أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ عَلَىٰ هُدࣰى مِّن رَّبِّهِمۡۖ وَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡمُفۡلِحُونَ ٥
These depend on guidance from their Lord. These are the successful.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
Those with these qualities follow guidance from their Lord. They are the ones who truly succeed.
Insight
Elmalılı says this verse defines the fortunate ones everyone speaks of as ‘the successful’ without quite knowing who they are: those who believe, worship and share.
