Faith in the Unseen
Who believe in the Unseen, and establish worship, and spend of that We have bestowed upon them.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
The God-conscious believe in truths they cannot see, perform the prayer properly and share with others from what they have been given.
Insight
According to Elmalılı, faith in the unseen is believing with the heart, not the eye. Such people are not stuck on what is merely in front of their eyes; they recognise unseen yet seeing realities such as the mind, the soul and the heart.
Reflect
What things in your life can you not see, yet are sure exist?
