Two Highways
وَهَدَيۡنَٰهُ ٱلنَّجۡدَيۡنِ ١٠
And guide him to the parting of the mountain ways.

Meaning
And showed him the two highways.

Elmalılı explains “najd” as high, raised ground: man has been shown two high roads, of good and of evil. Which one he climbs is his choice.
