Thus Your Lord Has Said
قَالُواْ كَذَٰلِكِ قَالَ رَبُّكِۖ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ ٣٠
They said: Even so saith thy Lord. Lo! He is the Wise, the Knower.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
“Thus has your Lord said.”

According to Elmalılı, the angels said: “We do not say this from ourselves; we only convey your Lord’s word.”
