What Is It to You?
وَمَا عَلَيۡكَ أَلَّا يَزَّكَّىٰ ٧
Yet it is not thy concern if he grow not (in grace).
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
Yet you are not to blame if he is not purified.
Insight
According to Elmalılı, the Prophet bears no responsibility if the self-sufficient one who does not want to benefit from the Qur’an is not purified. The duty is to convey.
