Perhaps He Would Be Purified
وَمَا يُدۡرِيكَ لَعَلَّهُۥ يَزَّكَّىٰٓ ٣
What could inform thee but that he might grow (in grace).

Meaning
And how would you know? Perhaps he would be purified.
Insight
According to Elmalılı, the blind man deserved attention simply for being blind; and besides, perhaps he would be purified of his sins.
Reflect
Never dismiss anyone as someone who “won’t change anyway”.
