Reaching from Afar
And say: We (now) believe therein. But how can they reach (faith) from afar off.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
They will say: “We believe in it.” But how could they reach it from a place far away?
Insight
Elmalılı explains “tanawush” as reaching out: once the world of obligation has passed and punishment has come, faith no longer helps.
Reflect
Live your faith before it is too late.
