Iblis’s Assumption
And Satan indeed found his calculation true concerning them, for they follow him, all save a group of true believers.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
Iblis found his assumption about them true; they followed him, except a party of believers.
Insight
According to Elmalılı, Iblis had said “You will not find most of them grateful”; he made it come true, but the sincere believers did not follow him.
Reflect
Prove Satan wrong through your gratitude.
