Nearer Than the Jugular Vein
وَلَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ وَنَعۡلَمُ مَا تُوَسۡوِسُ بِهِۦ نَفۡسُهُۥۖ وَنَحۡنُ أَقۡرَبُ إِلَيۡهِ مِنۡ حَبۡلِ ٱلۡوَرِيدِ ١٦
We verily created man and We know what his soul whispereth to him, and We are nearer to him than his jugular vein.

We created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are nearer to him than his jugular vein.

According to Elmalılı, this both recalls the first creation and, in speaking of nearness, warns against confusing Creator and created.
