Their Deeds Are Lost
Those who disbelieve and turn (men) from the way of Allah, He rendereth their actions vain.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
Those who disbelieve and avert from Allah’s way, He will waste their deeds.
Insight
Elmalılı explains “sadd” as turning away or preventing others; both cause deeds to be lost.
Reflect
Beware of anything that would waste your deeds.
