Explained in Detail · Meccan · Juz 24 · Page 481
What Was Said Before
Naught is said unto thee (Muhammad) save what was said unto the messengers before thee. Lo! thy Lord is owner of forgiveness, and owner (also) of dire punishment.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
Nothing is said to you except what was said to the messengers before you.
Insight
According to Elmalılı, what the disbelievers say to you is what was said to the earlier prophets; your Lord is both forgiving and punishing.
