Seeing Evil as Good
Is he, the evil of whose deeds is made fairseeming unto him so that he deemeth it good, (other than Satan’s dupe)? Allah verily sendeth whom He will astray, and guideth whom He will; so let not thy soul expire in sighings for them. Lo! Allah is Aware of what they do.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
Is one whose evil deed is made attractive to him so he sees it as good?
Insight
According to Elmalılı, this conveys that those who believe and do good are not like one who sees his evil deed as good.
Reflect
Don’t try to make your mistake look good.
