Let Not the World Deceive You
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ إِنَّ وَعۡدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقࣱّۖ فَلَا تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَلَا يَغُرَّنَّكُم بِٱللَّهِ ٱلۡغَرُورُ ٥
O mankind! Lo! the promise of Allah is true. So let not the life of the world beguile you, and let not the (avowed) beguiler beguile you with regard to Allah.

Meaning
The promise of Allah is true; so let not the worldly life deceive you.
Insight
According to Elmalılı, the Hereafter will come and recompense will surely be; so do not be deceived by worldly life, saying “let us enjoy ourselves today.”
