According to Means
Let him who hath abundance spend of his abundance, and he whose provision is measured, let him spend of that which Allah hath given him. Allah asketh naught of any soul save that which He hath given it. Allah will vouchsafe, after hardship, ease.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
Let the man of wealth spend from his wealth; Allah will bring ease after hardship.
Insight
According to Elmalılı, this verse is a principle for all questions of maintenance: each is obliged to spend according to his means.
Reflect
Give as much as you can; trust that hardship will turn to ease.
