Trust in Allah
And will provide for him from (a quarter) whence he hath no expectation. And whosoever putteth his trust in Allah, He will suffice him. Lo! Allah bringeth His command to pass. Allah hath set a measure for all things.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
Allah provides for the God-conscious from where they do not expect. Whoever relies on Allah, He is enough for them. Allah has set a measure for everything.
Insight
As Elmalılı relates, the Prophet recited this verse to Abu Dharr again and again and said: ‘If all people held to this, it would suffice them.’ In another hadith he said: ‘Whoever wishes to be the strongest of people, let him rely on Allah.’
Reflect
Today, consciously leave to Allah a matter you cannot control.
