When the Stars Dim
وَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ ٱنكَدَرَتۡ ٢
And when the stars fall.

When the stars dim and fall.

Elmalılı explains “inkidar” as becoming cloudy and gives two meanings: their clear light fading out, or their scattering and falling.
