Those Who Repent
إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ تَابُواْ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ ذَٰلِكَ وَأَصۡلَحُواْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورࣱ رَّحِيمࣱ ٥
Save those who afterward repent and make amends. (For such) lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
Except those who repent thereafter and reform.

According to Elmalılı, this is one who regrets the slander, retracts his words, submits to the penalty and seeks pardon from the one he slandered.
