Prayer and Zakat
ٱلَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَيُؤۡتُونَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَهُم بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ هُمۡ يُوقِنُونَ ٣
Who establish worship and pay the poor-due and are sure of the Hereafter.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
Who establish prayer, give zakat and are certain of the Hereafter.
Insight
According to Elmalılı, to receive this good news, after faith these two qualities at least are required; prayer is the pillar of religion and zakat its bridge.
