The Highest Horizon
وَهُوَ بِٱلۡأُفُقِ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ ٧
When he was on the uppermost horizon.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
While he was in the higher horizon.

Elmalılı explains “ufuq” as originally an edge or shore; it is used especially for the edges of the sky.
