Night as a Covering
وَجَعَلۡنَا ٱلَّيۡلَ لِبَاسࣰا ١٠
And have appointed the night as a cloak.

Meaning
And made the night as clothing.
Insight
According to Elmalılı, “libas” here means not inner clothing but a cover like a quilt: the night wraps and rests a person.
