Companions of the Left
وَأَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَشۡـَٔمَةِ مَآ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَشۡـَٔمَةِ ٩
And (then) those on the left hand; what of those on the left hand.

Meaning
The companions of the left; how wretched the companions of the left!

Elmalılı explains “mash’amah” as the left side and ill omen: those in a low position, or whose ill fortune touches themselves and those close to them.
