Gardens and Rivers
إِنَّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّـٰتࣲ وَنَهَرࣲ ٥٤
Lo! the righteous will dwell among gardens and rivers.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
Indeed, the mindful will be among gardens and rivers.
Insight
According to Elmalılı, those guarded from disbelief and disobedience are in gardens and a flow of light; “nahar” means river and also brightness.
