Go Early to Your Crop

Saying: Run unto your field if ye would pluck (the fruit).

Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall

Meaning

“Go early to your crop if you would harvest.”

Insight

According to Elmalılı, there were two errors in this: they said “your crop” as if they alone had grown it, and then they resolved to deprive the poor.

Reflect

Don’t forget that your earnings come from Allah.
