I Spread Everything for Him
وَمَهَّدتُّ لَهُۥ تَمۡهِيدࣰا ١٤
And made (life) smooth for him.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
And spread out for him every provision.
Insight
According to Elmalılı, besides wealth and sons, many means were prepared for him, and rank and prestige were given; al-Walid was counted among the leaders of Quraysh.
