Iron and Copper
Give me pieces of iron - till, when he had levelled up (the gap) between the cliffs, he said: Blow! - till, when he had made it a fire, he said: Bring me molten copper to pour thereon.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
“Bring me blocks of iron.” When he had levelled the gap, he said “Blow!”, and when it glowed, “Bring me molten copper to pour over it.”
Insight
Elmalılı explains “zubrah” as a large piece of iron; the iron blocks were piled until level between the two mountain sides.
