Different Paths
وَأَنَّا مِنَّا ٱلصَّـٰلِحُونَ وَمِنَّا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَۖ كُنَّا طَرَآئِقَ قِدَدࣰا ١١
And among us there are righteous folk and among us there are far from that. We are sects having different rules.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
“Among us are the righteous and among us are others; we were of different ways.”
Insight
According to Elmalılı, among the jinn are righteous ones fit for faith and good, and lowly ones from whom good can hardly be expected.
