We Showed the Way
إِنَّا هَدَيۡنَٰهُ ٱلسَّبِيلَ إِمَّا شَاكِرࣰا وَإِمَّا كَفُورًا ٣
Lo! We have shown him the way, whether he be grateful or disbelieving.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
We guided him to the way, be he grateful or ungrateful.
Insight
According to Elmalılı, this way is the true religion of Islam, to which the Qur’an invites, leading straight to Allah and His pure blessings.
