I Breathed of My Spirit
So, when I have made him and have breathed into him of My Spirit, do ye fall down, prostrating yourselves unto him.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
When I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall down prostrating to him.
Insight
According to Elmalılı, “My spirit” is a possessive of honour; the breathing is a figure of speech.
Reflect
Guard the honour of the divine trust within you.
